The Partnership between ARES Sportswear and Gildan
ARES Sportswear has been screenprinting Gildan t-shirts and sweatshirts since the company was founded in 1995. In 2017, ARES Sportswear became one of the few screenprinting and embroidery companies in the USA approved to purchase directly from Gildan instead of going through a blank apparel distributor (middle man). This allowed ARES Sportswear to become one of the first — and few — screenprinters that can purchase directly through the “Big 3” t-shirt manufactures – Gildan, Fruit of the Loom, and Hanes.
About Gildan
A truly international company, Gildan is the largest seller of printable t-shirts and fleece in the world. The company was founded in Montreal in 1946 as a basic children’s apparel manufacturer. Gildan expanded into the USA in 1992 and added a state of the art facility in Eden, North Carolina in 2001.
