About Badger Sportswear
The Badger Sportswear brand was created in 1971 in Statesville, North Carolina. The company was purchased by brothers Jerry and Bill Carr in 1984, who in 1994 launched the successful Badger Sport brand you know today. Badger Sportswear and ARES Sportswear Partnership
ARES Sportswear began selling and decorating Badger Sportswear in 1998. The two companies work together to create the finest combination of team apparel and great custom apparel decoration available. ARES Sportswear CEO Mike Campbell, along with long time ARES Sportswear employee Dan Girard, have made an annual trip from Columbus to Badger’s Statesville, NC Headquarters to tour the plant and check on new athletic products.
